Pride seems to be everywhere these days.
But to me it's the wrong kind of pride.
It used to be that people were proud of accomplishments:
not that they belonged to a group, or fell into a category.
OK; it's great that you feel good about yourself,
that you feel comfortable with your sexual orientation, race
or whatever aspect of your life.
But have you done to really be "proud" of.
You say you are proud that you are this way or that.
But all you are really saying is that you are "proud"
about the way The All has created you.
That's like saying that you are proud to have brown eyes.
Or that you are proud that you have a certain color hair.
What have you really done that has impressed anyone?
Have you played a sport where you have gotten a trophy?
And no a "participation" trophy is not the same as one for finishing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
You say we should look at you"; Why?
Because you make yourself up?
Or is it because you act "fabulous"
My mistake; I should have known that it is because you post
opinionated videos. Just like about 30 million other people.
If you want to be proud about something then just be proud of
who you are, I mean REALLY ARE!
Without the makeup, or the "look at me" antics.
The you that has been hurt, and seen others hurt.
YOU, that little kid who was never told how to REALLY deal with life.
That person who was told that they have to "fit in" but was never told where.
And why weren't you never told?
Because no one ever took the time to help you find out who you are?
So who are you?
Well I can tell you this;
You are more than just a "trait" or fashion statement.
What is really important, what you should be "proud" of,
is your integrity, your honesty and your empathy.
Can anyone say that you are a liar?
Is there someone who in their hour of need, you turned your back on?
How quick are you to pay back a loan? Do you always show up for work...On time?
Do you promise "not to tell anyone", and do?
The things you should be proud of, are the things that only you know about.
Sure others will be able to say; You are dependable, never steal and are totally trustworthy.
But only you really know as to what level all those things really are.
Did you do something, but know in your heart that you should have (and could have) done more?
Are you the type of person who shows up early to pay your debts?
Or do you wait until you are asked for what you already know you owe?
Do you always show up on time, or do you say to yourself something like "they will just have to understand?
Be proud for the times when when at the end of the day,
your head hit's the pillow and you can say "I have done no wrong".
Be proud of the fact that you are a creation of The Creator.
Their is righteousness and a desire for justice inside of you.
Be proud of the fact that you want to be an advocate of peace and unity.
Take off your "masks", let the world see the real you.
That person inside, let them look into your eyes and see.
No more B.S. no more masquerade, no more doing things just to get views.
To me that is what is meant whenever I hear someone say;
Be true to (or know) yourself.
Be proud of who you are created to be, not what you do in the bedroom.
Have that pride in you your inner self is,
not because you died your hair blue, wear all black, have piercings and wear combat boots.
Get rid of all that junk.
Show that you are really proud of the way you were really created.
None of those things will show that you have the intellect to solve the problem.
In fact they become a distraction of vanity, in just trying to constantly
showcase these insignificant traits.
People will only get to know you by your actions.
And what your priorities are.
If you insist on showing the world how you can look on the outside;
Your not allowing them to first encounter that person inside.
When you "dress-up" and people first see you, you have already drawn a picture of yourself.
They see someone who is dressed like they are a depressed person
and they just leave it at that.
Your not being judged, it's the picture you have presented.
And maybe you are totally different on the inside, but...
Just like when you post videos showing off your silliness,
people think that's just what you want to do with your life.
They don't know your about to get your P.H.D. unless you tell them.
And if someone walks into a hospital and your standing there with green hair,
torn old black jeans, old ratty black tennis shoes, and a raggedy old black sabbath shirt;
Odds are your not going to be the first one someone coming in for help would approach.
Be who you are on the inside.
Be proud of how you were created, without alterations.
Without the desire of approval from other humans.
Be action not appearance.
If you truly have a good message, then the people will hear it for it's words.
Not because the person who said it is wearing make up.
That is using your appearance to bring attention to you, not your words.
It is your words and actions that stand out in a crowd.
Remember you can draw a beneficial attention to yourself or cause by "dressing up".
But the cloths and the make up are not you.
It all depends on how you truly want people to perceive you.
When you wear things that are not true to you.
It tells people like me that their are things about yourself
that you would rather try to alter instead of accept.
It is the same whenever you spread hatred or disapproval.
It is because you have not learned acceptance of everything within yourself,
so you cannot find acceptance in everything around you.
If your going to proclaim pride in yourself.
Then let it be for who your creator made you to be.
As your creator intended for you to be.
The person on the inside should be the most predominant
aspect of your persona.
I have heard people say that they dress a certain way to show support.
Well to me the only thing you are saying is that I need to cater to you.
Because your different. You dress differently, or your sexual preference is different.
So I need to be especially accommodating.
That is not unity.
If you want to be apart of a unified planet;
Then you need to find a way to unify with it, not try and make it unify with you.
No; I AM not speaking on behalf of The Illuminati or anyone else.
The words I write are from my own understanding of the things I perceive.
If they are divinely inspired, then I think it would be nice if God let me know.
It was my intention to try to get you to take another look at the statement "Be true to (or know) yourself.
