understand the stances of both sides, on the way the world is.
There are things going on that need to be stopped.
Many people are doing things that they know are wrong, on both sides.
And this is where my concerns lye.
I have met many of these people, and been invited to their meetings.
Listened to their teachings and seen their "ceremonies".
And even invited to homes.
Here are where the tears begin.
Yes there are people who "thrive" on such "lifestyles".
And they actually want to live in such ways.
But the "majority" of them don't.
I have had phone calls very early in the morning, with a grown man (someone of prominence),
crying so hard he could barely breath.
His story is like many, many others. And was almost mine.
We start out "in search of light" (Yep that's how it's worded).
And we are told that we are learning the "secrets of The Grand Architect of The Universe".
Shown "different ways of seeing things".
We are taught different ways of saying things, and given things to memorize.
And as we "learn" we are given fancy necklaces to wear and given "meaningful items".
As we "advance" suddenly there are people who want to help with your finances.
Build your business, start a business or the most popular one "come to work for me".
Next thing you know you're at an event being introduced to people you never thought you would EVER meet.
Suddenly you're making more money than you ever have, buying name brand clothes and "hob nobbling"
with "societies best".
Then out of nowhere you're invited to a "gathering".
And guess who else is there?
Your perfect person.
It doesn't matter if you're married (they prefer that you are).
You get a little too tipsy and "things happen".
Everything is good, everyone had a "good time".
So you get invited to another "gathering", but this one is a costume party.
And we will be more than happy to send you to our "costumer" to help you find the perfect outfit.
And here is where "the cliff" is created.
So many, accept the goings on out of fear.
Fear for their prosperity, and the farther you allow yourself to go, the greater the threat.
All the while you are publicly praised and given the "right" to wear more jewelry.
So many have been drawn into their existence, not wanting to be there.
By the time they realize what has happened, they risk losing their jobs, their business, home
family...Everything.
They want out, they never wanted to live in such ways.
But they don't know how.
They don't know who to talk to, because the membership is "everywhere".
But they are members, and they do what is "required" of them.
Driving home sobbing, contemplating suicide.
I got out, but the only thing I had to lose was my life.
Yes; I WAS there. I know who and what.
And I know the innocence that has been forced to be "labeled".
Told at the point of a dagger, that they must take the next step.
We hear all the time about people who have "escaped" a cult.
People who knew things were not right, and got out.
Many of them had to decide to leave loved ones behind.
It is these people that I am feeling compassion toward, and I must admit am a bit perplexed about.
How do we as humans, see their true hearts?
What can be done to "weed out" those who were "dragged in", from those who "chose"?
And how do we teach those who "chose" the way?
What about those who were raised in such a manor?
Those who were taught as children that "this is how the world works".
They see the other side, and long to know and live by their ways.
But they are afraid to approach, they know the criticism and the desegregation,
they wear the "label".
Who will take them under the wing?
With so many living their lives pointing accusing fingers, unwilling to listen?
And even oppressing their pleas for understanding?
How will their voice be heard?
Unity to me means trying to include everyone.
Finding a way to get us all "on the same page".
Showing everyone that they were created with good within them.
And that they CAN have a useful productive and satisfying life without doing any harm.
How do we get Yen and Yang to work together?
To agree on what is considered "acceptable" and what is not.
What path is it that allows both sides to have their fulfillment without offending the other;
On any level.
How do those that so many say are "un-savable" get saved?
What needs to be done to silence the voices of judgement?
It is like I have been shown a chess game, in progress.
Told the objectives and that both sides are regulated (but not how) and that they have the same goal (to win, that's it).
I AM told what I AM expected to "figure out".
Without knowing what a Chess game is.
Not knowing how the pieces move, or whose turn it is.
How do we get people to realize that unity means inclusion.
Where can the ones who are called "despicable" or "unacceptable", who want to learn; Go to be taught?
And how do we "know" that their heart is true?
Or will we just say that, because of their past;
They are "Not Allowed To Learn?"
Just one of the things I AM pondering.
